Hi, bought the unit to balance the carbs on my old BMW R100S. Quick and simple and the bike runs better for it. The only improvement I think would be if you could see the selected level of dampening, it can be adjusted + or - but in 100 increments (?) the instructions say. Really? I tried it but adjustment didn’t seem to make much difference, the mm hg couldn’t be read as it fluctuates too much and you can’t tell where it’s at in the “dampening scale”. Apart from that it did the job and is a lot easier than “shorting the plugs” method that I’ve done for the last few decades.
works well once i fixed the thread in sniff stick for the o2 sensor to go in, it was threaded in on an angle and the o2 sensor eccentrically went in, without fixing it pulled fresh air in to the sensor and gave a false lean reading

Thank you for raising that. We are aware of a manufacturing issue affecting some of the sniffsticks. The problem has been dealt with and will not occur on future batches. If you still like a replacment, please let us know and we'll send up a new one.
Arrived today, securely packaged. Straight out of the box it worked flawlessly and made throttle body synchronising on BMW R1100S a breeze. I didn't even worry about fiddling with the sensitivity. Only thing to be aware of (not a complaint or fault). The vacuum nipples on the BMW throttle bodies are smaller than the internal diameter of the supplied vacuum hoses. Nothing that a cable tie didn't fix. Money well spent.
